The Four Inns (1957-2018)

The Four Inns, regarded by many as a premier Scout organised distance event, celebrated its Diamond jubilee in 2017. Today it is a flagship event run by Derbyshire County Scout Council. The organisation, running and manning the checkpoints on the day is all done by volunteers. Activation is a full day event of activities that will be laid on by the County Active Support Units. The event takes place near Carsington Water and is a one day event. &nbsp Peak camps have run since 1974, and have been held every 5 years since 1980. The camps have been held in the grounds of Chatsworth House and are organised as a joint venture by Derbyshire Scouts and Girlguiding Derbyshire.
